Yup, I’m happy, my Harry Potter book arrived! I was just getting impatient and checked my tracking code and there it was.. it said “Delivered”. Funny, I didn’t hear the doorbell expecting the UPS guy to hand me the package. So I ran to my mailbox and lo and behold, it’s there! It was shipped to USPS then USPS delivered it to my mailbox! Isn’t it wonderful!

Ok, I’ll go and unwrap this thing and read! I’ll post soon..

I pre-ordered and was promised, at least I thought that I’ll have my book on Saturday. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I chose UPS. So I don’t have a book and I’m almost tempted to buy one at Byerly’s for a dollar more that what I paid the book for.

I would have not been disappointed but I just read in the paper this morning that USPS went all out to deliver books, on Saturday to their waiting patrons.

Oh well, the price of buying online? But that won’t deter me from buying online again. I just need to choose the right delivery service. USPS it is.

I know in just a few hours I will have my Harry Potter book delivered. I bought it online at Amazon. I read in some news this morning that Amazon has slashed it’s price 50% so no true profits for sellers, but good for consumers.

Is that my doorbell??

I tried Blogger again today and I’m pretty amazed with the additional features available today. I have blogs in Blogger before but I moved to Wordpress when I wanted more features. There are just some features that were not available in Blogger. But now, Blogger looks great. It’s very easy to customize my blog template with the available widgets.

Since I already have a C’sFocus blog here, I thought I’d make a Filipino version in Blogger. Check out my new blog.

Well, not really. My friend Lorie and I are prodding our friend Med to get an iPhone. We just want her to get one so we can play with it. So yesterday, we found out that iPhones are available in the Apple Store at the mall, so went there. While we were playing with the iPhones on display, Med said she’s buying now. Wow! We’re in luck, but not quite. We found out that the iPhone is useless if it’s not activated. I thought we can play with the other “stuff” like the iPod etc but unfortunately, unless you’re making an emergency call (911?), it’s useless unless activated. That’s a bummer.

Anyways, last night Med activated her phone and finally we can play with it. Now I have a problem! I’m zooming the page in my Blackberry browser! Ouch!

Do you think I should buy? We’ll see….

It’s Raining!

I have been using my Gmail mobile in my Blackberry Pearl for sometime now and I liked it. I hate to say that for checking my yahoo mail it’s not that easy. I have to open up a browser and go the usual (long) way. But now, I just installed Yahoo! Go and I loved it! There’s an application icon on my mobile home page and I can open up my email, flickr account etc using the widgets. The interface looks cool too.

Ok, now the question is do I hold on to my Blackberry or trade it to an iPhone? What do you think?

Just want to get this post out there in time for the 070707 mania! To mark the day, we have friends over for a visit, some chat and sewing. Yes, I tried sewing again. I’ve tried some sewing before but I didn’t pursue it. It’s just one of those interests I have that come and go.
